Project Manager / Estimator

Job Type: Full-Time in person
Preferred Years of Experience: 3 Years
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
Salary Range:  $90,000 – $120,000 (dependent on experience)
Must be Authorized to Work in the US

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project management. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Manage all contract and project documents
  • Create, manage and update CPM schedules to meet deadlines
  • Oversee the supervision of field operations
  • Analyze plans, specifications, & proposals
  • Perform quantity takeoffs
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors and material suppliers
  • Manage vendor solicitation & DBE compliance
  • Analyze subcontract quotes & prepare bid documents
  • Analyze & understand project requirements & risks

Three years experience in highway / heavy construction is preferred with previous supervisory or leadership managing multiple projects. Good planning and organization skills, attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills, CPM scheduling skills, employee and customer relationship skills and the ability to coordinate several tasks at once are required. Knowledge of civil construction practices, methods & materials.
